I made this for a quick dinner, and added chicken breast strips to make it more of an entree. It was delicious! I tired it out last week, and already have requests to make it tonight for dinner.

This was a big hit at Thanksgiving and at the family Christmas party. Several people have asked me for the recipe. I add some salt, pepper, and garlic powder.

I used cream of celery soup, 1 large chopped onion, chopped red and yellow bell peppers, 3 cups of cubed chicken, minced garlic & cajun seasoning. Since I already had pie crust I used it and my husband and neighbors loved it!!! Very filling and tasty! I see lots of other combinations for this basic recipe.

I thought this was kind of bland, so I put cream of chicken in instead of cream of mush, chicken broth instead of water, and chicken stuffing mix instead of the pastry crust on top. It gave it much more flavor and my family loved it better that way.

This is a creamy, yet light and wonderful dish. It was the first time that this casserole was made and it was a huge hit with our entire family. Everyone commented on the creamy, rich taste, and they were very happy with the light, fluffy pastry on top. This one is a winner with our family!
