My family loved this at Easter dinner. The looks alone were mouth watering. I substituted cream of broccoli soup for mushroom because someone in the family is allergic to mushrooms. I also used fresh broccoli and just cooked it a little longer. I would definitely recommend this, it is excellent.

I used a simple cheese sauce and took the suggestions to steam the broccoli first. I also made this in 8 small ramekins so each person could have their own. Everyone really seemed to enjoy them and my children ate all of theirs. Fun recipe and pretty simple.

I made this for Christmas and it was good. I'm making it again for Easter but I'm going to make a few changes-thanks to the reviews on this. I will put long grain cooked rice on the botton (hopefully this will help with the excess liquid at the bottom and hold it together better) I'm also adding chicken, garlic, mushrooms and onions to the mix to add more flavors. Yum.

This was a big hit! The only change I would make would be to put it inside a pie crust too. That would hold everything together better.

My sister-in-law brought this over for Christmas--the entire family loved it. I had to look up the recipe for company tomorrow!

We made this dish for Christmas dinner, and it was just okay. It tasted like it needed something, maybe we will add rice to it next time. The presentation was really nice though.

Made this recipe for the first time for Christmas dinner. No one knew what to expect, but it was a hit and everyone went for seconds until it was gone. It makes for a special side dish.
