My husband and I were visiting a friend in Pa for the Penn State/Wisconsin football game. We mixed the ingredients together Friday night, covered it tightly with wrap and refrigerated it. We baked it Sunday morning to eat before we left to return home to Michigan. It came out great.

I made it as the recipe called and it was good but.....later I made it with 8 pieces of bacon and only 1/2 of the called for pepper and served it Christmas morning. My mother, husband and in-laws raved on and on. My only problem at that point was I hadn't made enough for seconds.

I made this for Thanksgiving morning 2005. Although it was a little too "spinachy" for my family, I tried it again the next week with half the spinach, and it was a hit as part of a lunch buffet with my sisters. I will definitely make this again. It is also good cold, with a little salad for lunch! Linda, Naperville, IL Happy New Year!

I might make a variation of my own using this recipe as a base, but not this recipe. Even with hot sauce, (and the garlic I added) it is much too bland! The puff pastry is a great idea (a nice change from pie shells), but it needs a more flavorful filling.

This recipe is AWESOME...I LOVE it, the ingredients always work together and make it the best ever. I never liked spinach... until I ate this recipe.

I served this for Christmas and it was a hit, beautiful and flavorful. I used half broccoli along with the spinach and replaced the bacon with ham. This was the first time I've used puff pastry and I found it easy to work with, will definitely use it again!

I've made this 3 times now. I thought it was really good and my family did too. I would add more bacon and I added diced tomatoes instead of red peppers. I also added Durn good Hot sauce about 2 capfuls for a little zip. The prep takes a good amount of time. You have to let the puff pastry and spinach thaw that can take awhile. If you havethe time to make it I would highly recommend it.
