I had no problem preparing this, but I could not taste the bacon and it just did not have the flavor that it should have. It was passable, but I would not make it again.

It was very popular with the adults at our Christmas dinner. I will add some Crazy Janes Salt the next time for a little more flavor. The puff pastry was easy to work with and very light to the pallet. Excellent protein and vegatable dish you could take to any covered dish affair.

This was MAR-VEE-LOUS!!! I don't make it if it ain't easy, and this was *easy.* I used refrigerated pie crust; otherwise, followed all the directions exactly. I can tell you, it would almost be as easy as breathing to modify this almost any way you want to suit your tastes. This is a keeper!

The whole family enjoyed this. (Adult sons and my husband!) Instead of layering the ingredients - I just mixed them all together. Also, before assembling, I sauteed onions, red peppers (from a jar) and twice as much (precooked) bacon. If I had sundried tomatoes, I would have used those. I think next time I will configure the puff pastry in a different (hopefully easier) way. Would like to make this different for my Jewish friends who don't mix dairy and meat (much less eat pork).

i have made it twice in one week - the first was a trial run... the second for christmas brunch and it was a hit! we now call it the 'Christmas Pie" the pastry was a breeze working with, even if it did rip, you would never know it!

This was the hit of our Christmas morning brunch. It turned out exactly like the photo and everyone raved about the taste. This will be added to my favorite recipes.

It was good, and I love spinach, but it had WAY too much spinach! I'm making it again for New Year's, and this time I'll try it with less spinach and feta cheese instead of cheddar, and throw in some onions, a bit of salt, and more bacon or some ham...

I made this as part of our Christmas Dinner. Everyone loved it and doubted that it was homemade as it looked so good! Very very easy to make!
