Very dense cake! A bit more so than what I like, but my family liked it.

I was really disapointed after reading good reviews. I made this for Christmas eve party and no one liked it. I was embarassed because everyone always appoints me to be the one to bring dessert. I will never make that again.

Instead of chocolate cake, I used Red Velvet cake mix. And used cream cheese frosting instead of Cool Whip. It was a HIT!!

Great cake to make. Family loved it. I traveled with it and didn't frost until I was just about ready to serve it. Also, don't put the peppermint on right away because the color bleeds.

I made this for christmas dinner. wow! soo good! It's tastes like christmas haha I did do some things differently though. I put in a hint of peppermint instead of the candy canes inside the cake. Candy canes would have been too crunchy for me I think. Instead of whipped cream i used whipped cream cheese and iced it with cream cheese icing. Soo good! would recommend to anyone for the holidays and would make again!

I made this cake twice (within a week or so) and people have been begging for it ever since.

I've made this for the past few years at Christmas. Everyone loves it, and now they request it!

My family LOVED it. I even messed it up a little by adding too much JELL-O but it was very forgiving, moist, and tasty. I am making a couple for this year's holiday party.

Everyone loved this! I suggest freezing/refridgerating this if you intend to travel with it. My top layer slid off a tad in transit. Maybe if I had chilled it before hand I wouldnt have had that problem.
