pkg. (13x9-inch pan size) brownie mix

pkg. (8 oz. each) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened

cup sugar

tsp. vanilla

1/2

cup BREAKSTONE'S or KNUDSEN Sour Cream

eggs

squares BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate, melted, cooled slightly

Make It

PREHEAT oven to 325°F. Line 13x9-inch baking pan with foil, with ends of foil extending over sides of pan; grease foil. Prepare brownie batter as directed on package; pour into prepared pan. Bake 18 to 20 min. or until top of brownie is shiny and center is almost set.

MEANWHILE, beat cream cheese, sugar and vanilla in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed until well blended. Add sour cream; mix well. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing on low speed after each addition just until blended. Spoon over partially baked brownie batter in pan. (Filling will come almost to top of pan.)

BAKE 40 min. or until center is almost set. Run knife or metal spatula around rim of pan to loosen cake; cool completely. Refrigerate 4 hours or overnight. Let stand at room temperature 30 min. before serving. Lift cheesecake from pan, using foil handles. Drizzle with chocolate; let stand until chocolate is firm. Cut into 16 bars to serve. Store leftover cheesecake in refrigerator.

The end product was good - but getting it out of the pan without foil sticking to the brownies and without the cheesecake falling apart was a mess!! I might try it again with PAM on the foil to see if that helps. Otherwise, it was pretty good tasting!

I made this recipe twice. The first time it was perfe ct. The second time I followed the recipe above and the brownie was not done enough. Mistake in the degree of oven. It should be 350 instead of 325.

While the taste was ok, this recipe was not worth the time or cost. The edges turned out too hard to cut. And the edges of the cut squares did not come out clean like the picture even after warming my knife to cut. I followed the recipe exactly and it was chilled overnight. I will not make this again.

This was an amazing dessert! A hit for my whole family for my mother's birthday. Next time I'll cook the brownies for a bit longer so that the end result is more firm and done, but everyone loved it even as it was.

This was a huge mess. I followed the directions exactly and it was a disaster. I don't know how anyone got this to turn out like the picture...and I do a lot of baking. When I poured the cheesecake on top of the brownie it was too heavy and sunk to the bottom, mixing up all the brownie. I baked it anyway to see how it turned out. The edges were so hard and the center was barely done. When I tried to slice pieces, the brownie was a soggy mess and wouldn't stick to the cheesecake. Too expensive of a recipe to not turn out well.

I made this recipe for Thanksgiving and again for an Annual Christmas party for friends. It was a great success. Delicious, I would make it again and again.

This recipe is easy but I would suggest not cooking the brownie bottom as long as they say. I did (till almost set) and when I added additional ingredients the brownie bottom burned a little. Try and then make adjustments. I would definitly try it though.

Very easy and good. I made it for my book club and had to give the recipe to all the members. Everyone that has tried it has loved it.

This was wonderful!! Everyone LOVED it! My husband took it to an office party and people thought it was store bought! Very easy to make and I will make it again for sure!
