pkg. (13x9-inch pan size) brownie mix

pkg. (8 oz. each) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened

cup sugar

tsp. vanilla

1/2

cup BREAKSTONE'S or KNUDSEN Sour Cream

eggs

squares BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate, melted, cooled slightly

Make It

PREHEAT oven to 325°F. Line 13x9-inch baking pan with foil, with ends of foil extending over sides of pan; grease foil. Prepare brownie batter as directed on package; pour into prepared pan. Bake 18 to 20 min. or until top of brownie is shiny and center is almost set.

MEANWHILE, beat cream cheese, sugar and vanilla in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed until well blended. Add sour cream; mix well. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing on low speed after each addition just until blended. Spoon over partially baked brownie batter in pan. (Filling will come almost to top of pan.)

BAKE 40 min. or until center is almost set. Run knife or metal spatula around rim of pan to loosen cake; cool completely. Refrigerate 4 hours or overnight. Let stand at room temperature 30 min. before serving. Lift cheesecake from pan, using foil handles. Drizzle with chocolate; let stand until chocolate is firm. Cut into 16 bars to serve. Store leftover cheesecake in refrigerator.

This was melt in your mouth delicious!! I made this for a family Christmas get together for the first time, so even I hadn't tasted it yet. So when I took a bite it was soooo good and melted in your mouth- makes you happy! Made it again for Superbowl because I was still craving it!!!

It is constantly asked for when we have potlucks or bake sales at work, and one of my friends craved it so much during her pregancy I was making it almost twice a week for her.

This is a delicous cheesecake with the added bonus of chocolate! It is very time consuming and hard to perfect...

This recipe sounded so yummy but I was not very impressed. I may have incorrectly baked it but the brownies being baked part way and then again with the cheesecake made them quite tough. Also the combination of cheesecake and brownie was not as delightful as I had hoped- the cheesecake had a definite sour cream taste to it while the brownies were really sweet. Too bad!!

I made this for Thanksgiving and now I don't know if I want to share it!! It does take a little bit of work but it is well worth it!! I love brownies and cheesecake so why not eat them together? It is very rich but so delicious!!!!

I made this recipe for Thanksgiving one year. Everyone loved it. It was completely gone an hour after serving. I would diffently make this dish again.
