pkg. (13x9-inch pan size) brownie mix

pkg. (8 oz. each) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened

cup sugar

tsp. vanilla

1/2

cup BREAKSTONE'S or KNUDSEN Sour Cream

eggs

squares BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate, melted, cooled slightly

Make It

PREHEAT oven to 325°F. Line 13x9-inch baking pan with foil, with ends of foil extending over sides of pan; grease foil. Prepare brownie batter as directed on package; pour into prepared pan. Bake 18 to 20 min. or until top of brownie is shiny and center is almost set.

MEANWHILE, beat cream cheese, sugar and vanilla in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed until well blended. Add sour cream; mix well. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing on low speed after each addition just until blended. Spoon over partially baked brownie batter in pan. (Filling will come almost to top of pan.)

BAKE 40 min. or until center is almost set. Run knife or metal spatula around rim of pan to loosen cake; cool completely. Refrigerate 4 hours or overnight. Let stand at room temperature 30 min. before serving. Lift cheesecake from pan, using foil handles. Drizzle with chocolate; let stand until chocolate is firm. Cut into 16 bars to serve. Store leftover cheesecake in refrigerator.

Mine certainly didn't look this pretty, but tasted delicious. It was hard to keep the cheesecake and brownie totally separated.

These tasted even better then I expected! Much easier to prepare then I originally thought. I did use the foil but I don't feel it made it easier or harder to cut and serve the brownies then if it had been in a regular glass dish. I even thought I might have overcooked the brownie bottom but I think setting for a long time under the cream cheese makes the brownie very moist. This dish does need a lot of time to set so I highly recommend preparing this dessert the night before and refrigerating over night. The chocolate drizzle really put this brownie over the top. I tried this one out for my family first but I will definitely be bringing this to my next party.

Simply wonderful. As recommended by the other chefs, I didn't use the foil lined pan. Instead I used a greased, glass 13x9 dish which worked fine. It did take longer for the brownies to set; I'm not sure if the glass dish had anything to do with that...or maybe it's just my oven. I also didn't drizzle the chocolate on top. Instead I made little designs to put on top of the dessert before serving. I actually wrote my guests names with chocolate and made some swirls and heart shapes as well. The kids and adults loved it! This dessert is definitely "heavy", so a little piece is very filling. I will definitely make this again.

If u eat too many of the browie bottom you'll end up with w fat bottom, but it's worth it =-)

I made this recipe for my mom's church reunion and everyone loved it! I didn’t use the foil and used about half the mixture of the cheesecake because I preferred to have more brownie. Also I left it overnight on the refrigerator and on the morning I drizzle the chocolate on top. I will be making it again today with the leftover cheesecake mixture because the family asked for it. It really was addictively delicious!

I made this recipe twice. Once using a plain brownie mix which was good, but the second time I use a delux brownie mix with walnuts and they all disapeared as soon as my family discovered the nuts in the brownie bottom.Great for family gatherings.

Brownie's and cheesecake..mega yum! This recipe was incredibly sinful and absolutely delicious. My family loved it!
