pkg. (13x9-inch pan size) brownie mix

pkg. (8 oz. each) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened

cup sugar

tsp. vanilla

1/2

cup BREAKSTONE'S or KNUDSEN Sour Cream

eggs

squares BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate, melted, cooled slightly

Make It

PREHEAT oven to 325°F. Line 13x9-inch baking pan with foil, with ends of foil extending over sides of pan; grease foil. Prepare brownie batter as directed on package; pour into prepared pan. Bake 18 to 20 min. or until top of brownie is shiny and center is almost set.

MEANWHILE, beat cream cheese, sugar and vanilla in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed until well blended. Add sour cream; mix well. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing on low speed after each addition just until blended. Spoon over partially baked brownie batter in pan. (Filling will come almost to top of pan.)

BAKE 40 min. or until center is almost set. Run knife or metal spatula around rim of pan to loosen cake; cool completely. Refrigerate 4 hours or overnight. Let stand at room temperature 30 min. before serving. Lift cheesecake from pan, using foil handles. Drizzle with chocolate; let stand until chocolate is firm. Cut into 16 bars to serve. Store leftover cheesecake in refrigerator.

Despite many of the negative reviews, I decided to give this a try as cheesecake and brownie is irrestistable for me. While mine wasn't "picture pretty" it tasted great!! I baked my brownies until they were completely done. Even though the recipe requires you to then cook the whole thing again, the moisture from the cream cheese prevented the brownie from being too hard. I will make it again!

i made this as a thanksgiving dessert.. people who normally dont eat cheesecake were eating it. it was amazing

This recipe was really easy to make. It was absolutely scrumptious (very fattening, but very good!) My family really enjoyed this dessert & has asked me to make it again in the future.

This was a really good recipe. I made it one day out of the blue and it turned out pretty well. However, I did change some things because of the reviews I read earlier. I left the brownie mix in the oven a lot longer than what it said to and also the cheesecake mix too! I also recommend after drizzling on the chocolate that you cut it immediately because I can see how it would be hard to cut when cold. Otherwise, it was really good! Almost too sweet! :-)

The cheesecake portion turned out fine, but I don't feel that the brownie bottom was baked enough. Everyone enjoyed so I will try this receipe again but will bake the brownies longer before adding the cheese mixture.

These are soooo good. I think next time I will cook the brownie a little longer than the recipe says before adding the cheesecake.

This was sooo good. I actually used a turtle brownie mix and used chocolate and caramel on the top. My family loved it. I will definately be making this one again.

This recipe was great! using the non stick foil would be best. I love chocolate and cheesecake so this was a perfect recipe. I didn't put any chocolate on the top though, next time I will use cherry pie filling as a topper. Yummy!
