Perfect appetizer. A bit rich but with crackers it tones it down. An absolute hit everytime I make it (3 times in last four weeks).

I put in a little more pesto than stated, but otherwise stuck to the recipe. This was honestly gone in about 10 minutes and everyone wanted the recipe or wanted me to make it again.
This recipe is very delicious and extremely easy to make. I have made this twice and have received rave reviews both times. The second time that I make this recipe I made it ahead of time, letting it sit in the fridge for about 2 1/2 hours. When it was through baking it was almost as flat as a pancake on one end. I don't know if I did something wrong or what, but it still tasted great, it just wasn't the prettiest. Overall this is a great recipe and I can't wait until we have company over again so I can make it.

I made this for Thanksgiving dinner this year (2005) and my family absolutely LOVED it! It was so easy and flavorful. I also made the Savory Parmesan Bites - they are both to die for!! Kraft Food & Family will have 3 new subscribers after this holiday. I've always spoken highly of the magazine but now the proof is in their pallets. Thank you so much for making recipes super yummy & easy!
Gotta love a quick and easy appetizer that everybody liked!!! Definately a keeper.
THIS RECIPE IS FANTASTIC! The last family party I made it literally disappeared in 15 minutes. People couldn't leave it alone! I didn't have any peppers so I used sundried tomatoes in oil and they were delicious. I'm not sure I'll even use peppers at all. Also, I made it the day before and then used another egg to brush it right before baking which saved me time. This will be a BIG HIT.
Absolutely fabulous. My Grandkiddies adored it! They each gobbled up 3 each! So good. If you like cheese, bread, and pesto, make this!
