The first time I tried this recipe, they were bland. So I used lean turkey bacon and increased the slices to 8. That went over much better!

Didn't go over very well.

No one cared for these to much. I won't be making them again.

I didn't realize how small these were supposed to be and i made them too big, which i think was the biggest problem.

With the small size, the "cheese-to-nut" ratio was too low, and no one could taste the cheese in these. I don't think anyone ate more than one.

I made this recipe for an office Christmas party, with sun dried tomatoes instead of bacon. Everyone enjoyed them, but the flavor was better the 2nd day around.

With being Jewish we never use bacon, so that was our omission, we used fresh chives instead of the dried. This made it have a better flavor.

I made this for a family christmas party & it went over very well. My husband said if there was any left he wanted some more. I did use oscar mayer real bacon bits instead of the chopped up bacon & it turned out well& made it very quickly. Also I used regular chopped walnuts. But they were very good. I would recommend this recipe to anyone.
