Awesome! My family loved them. We made more after Thanksgiving and will include them in our Christmas cookie plates that we give to friends!

I made these for work and everyone loved them. I also made them for Thanksgiving and my husband liked them so much, he said don't make pumpkin pie these are great, all our other family members and friends loved them as well.

I didn't like this recipe at all. Everyone that I had try it thought it was digusting. For one, I will never make it agian because no one liked it, and secondly I thought it was a waste of my time preparing. I would much rather make a Pumpkin Pie.

I made this recipe as an alternative to pumpkin pie, thinking it would be a good substitute. It was not the same texture at all. I think if I were to make this again, I would add more cinnamon to both the crust and the pumpkin filling. I did get lots of compliments on these bars and even the little kids liked them. I just wasn't crazy about them.

Everyone loved these. They were perfect and cut very nicely. My husband took them to work and all the ladies have been asking for the recipe. Thanks.

The crust was absolutely delicious -- very thick and crunchy. I plan on using it for other recipes (instead of a graham cracker crust); I substituted the pecans with walnuts. For the filling, I added some freshly grated nutmeg and a teaspoon of maple extract. I did let it bake an extra 5 minutes as I wasn't sure if the filling was quite firm enough. Now, I thought the bars perfectly sweetened especially yummy with a dollop of Cool White, but hubby expected a sweeter, more rich filling and wasn't as thrilled with the final product as I was. If you're expecting a pumpkin pie, this isn't it -- the filling is lighter (both in color and in texture). Also, it is easy to cut into firm bars after overnight refrigeration. I give the pumpkin bars a "thumbs up!"

The bars were very good, and I liked the taste of the pumpkin filling. However, I had a little trouble with the topping getting soft and mushy before I could crumble it--need to try this one again. My filling was also a little bit softer/thinner than in the picture. Everyone did seem to like it, though!

Made this for Thanksgiving. My husband and son donot like pumpkin pie but loved these pie bars. I stored the rest in the fridge in an air tight container. My son ate the last one December 3rd. It was still as fresh as the day I made it. I'll be making this delectible treat again. I love pumpkin and found this an easy to follow recipe as well as a tasty treat.

after reading comments, I used extra sugar. but will need to bake crust a bit longer before pouring in filling. It was really good and will make it again. Took to potluck and got good reviews
