A coworker and I just made this. Wish we read the comments first. Definitely needed more taste to the pumpkin. Cream cheese didn't blend well. Wouldn't make it again.

Yummy! I took a lot of the suggestions from others. I doubled the sugar in the pumpkin, and I also used butter-flavored crisco in the crust so it would stay crispier, and I also used have whole wheat flour. I noticed that some said the middle didn't get done, so I made it in two smaller square dishes, and it cooked perfectly. I'd definitely suggest this one!

I should have read the other comments, not quite sweet enough, and there were still globs of cream cheese. But overall very good, a little different than regular pumpkin pie w/ the cream cheese flavor. I wound up broiling for an extra 10 mins to brown the topping. Has texture more like an apple crisp.

I made these for a party and EVERYONE loved them! Everyone asked for the recipe. I reluctantly gave it up, because I did not want everyone to know how easy they were to make.

I took the advice from a few other posts. I used a whole cup of sugar in the pumpkin batter, softened the cream cheese and mixed the eggs and sugar with the it then added the pumpkin, and baked them for 35 mins. They even look like the picture. They are a huge it in our family. I will definitely be adding this to my favorites.

Very easy to make and very tasty. My husband thought they were great and I can make them often to suit him. Will definitely make again.

I made this for our Thanksgiving feast at work, it was a huge hit. I will be making it again for my Thanksgiving dinner with my family...only thing I would change is adding fresh whipped cream!!

I made two batches of these last night and both were very good. One reviewer commented on how the cream cheese didn't mix well with the pumpkin and another about how it needed more sugar. Both were correct. Although the first batch was good, with my second batch I beat the cream cheese separately with the sugar and eggs before adding it to the pumpkin and added an extra ½ cup sugar to the pumpkin mixture. This made them perfect! They are really tasty and I will make them again but they have a few kinks to be worked out. I may have used the cream cheese while it was still too cold, I recommend making sure that the cream cheese is really soft or using the whipped variety.

These pumpkin bars were good. They did have an odd taste to them though. They didn't taste like I thought they would. You either like them or your don't. I had to cook them an extra 10 minutes and I didn't put any crumbs aside for the top instead I made a seperate batch for the top. That was much better!

My family loved these bars. They were easy to make and tasted great. I liked the fact they were not real sweet.
