I thought this recipe looked really good. I made it and thought different. If I made it again I would probably use a little bit more sugar and a little bit more spice. I made this for a Christmas get together-the plate came home almost as full as it went. Probably wont make this again.
You can't mess with pumpkin pie. These turned out the way the recipe said but we ended up throwing most of it out. I will stick to the traditional pumpkin pie.
Great Recipie!! i added a pinch of salt in the crust/topping mixture and a little more pumpkin pie time might add a little more oatmeal too..i used the quick ones..want to see the diff with the other mom made me make this for new years day after i made it for thanksgiving and christmas too..i think ill be making it more!!
I made this recipe for a holiday party at work. Everyone loved it. Unfortunately I had none to take home for myself but thats okay.
Very easy to prepare. Cooked slightly longer, did not seem to be done at specified time. Different take on pumpkin recipe, something different for the Thanksgiving thru Christmas time of year. Thanks!
My husband is not a huge pumpkin pie fan, but he loved these. He really liked the flavor that the pecans added. I will be making these again!

I made this a few weeks before Thanksgiving and served it as a dessert with fresh whipped cream. My entire family loved it and asked that it replace the traditional pumpkin pie. The crust is a little fussy to prepare but well worth the effort of getting out and cleaning the pastry blender. Try it you will love it!
