Cream Cheese-Bacon Crescents

Instead of separating the dough into triangles, you can also pinch the seams together so that you have a long rectangle. Spread the cream cheese mixture and roll into a log. Cut 1/2 inch or so pieces and bake. I have also used fruity flavored cream cheese (ie blueberry) and made this as a breakfasty type snack.

I made these for a large family gathering. I thought I made too many since I had made so many other appetizers. They were the first to disappear. That was 2 weeks ago and everyone is still talking about them. They were the first items requested for our Christmas and New Year's gatherings. I think we have a new food tradition in our family.

I've been making these for years, and honestly didn't know the recipe was on this site. Everyone loves them when I make them and now they are expected at our Christmas snack day at work, and almost any other time I'm supposed to bring food. I make them with the Oscar Mayer Bacon Bits (in the pouch- salad dressing aisle) and they are great. I also use plain cream cheese and add my own chopped green onions-it's easier to control the onion flavor that way. They are VERY ADDICTIVE!

WARNING: ADDICTING Simple, quick, & easy to make! My everyone thought these were amazingly delicious. Perfect appitizer. You must serve these HOT, & they are still good warm, but once they get cold they are not that great- really makes a big difference. but dont worry, they are very easy to re-heat

Quick and easy. Even my 3 year old was pleased. Hubby ate a couple for breakfast the next morning. I did use a little more bacon than called for. I have also used pre cooked chicken and it turned out great.

Absolutely addictive! The next time I make these I am going to use even more bacon and cream cheese. They taste great!

Not impressed! They didn't have much flavor, maybe I should have used more cream cheese than it called for. I threw most of the batch away.

I absolutely love this recipe. I'm in my early twenties so the cooking thing is semi-new to me. I love these at parties or just to add a small snack to a light meal-they're really great with soup. And they only have 3 ingredients. By far-the easiest and greatest snack.
