Crab Cakes

Crab Cakes recipe

All great cooks have a secret or two. Like using Ritz Crackers to add a buttery flavor to crab cakes—and a touch of cayenne to give them just the right amount of zing.

We love these Crab Cakes. Even my husband who doesn't eat seafood likes these. I make them low fat by using Light Done Right Ranch, Reduced Fat Ritz, and Kraft 2% shredded cheddar. I made these for a luncheon at work and they were a hit. People now request that I make them.

This made a really easy seafood treat! I can't wait to try with salmon. I substituded bread crumbs, I think the ritz crackers would be better tasting. I also added Old Bay seasoning, YUM!

I made these with salmon instead of crab for the holidays and everyone loved them. After the holidays I made a huge batch and cooked and froze them in plastic bags. I made one batch with triple pepper for those who like it spicy. Now anytime we want them, we just pop them in the microwave. They are so easy to make and taste absolutely wonderful. Even my 2 year old grandbaby loves them. Don't miss out - try them !!!!

The second time I made this I used Ceasar dressing rather then the Ranch, it gave it a bit of a kick.

A big hit on New Year's Eve! Just a tip: Make sure the ingredients sit the three minutes, if not, it's hard to roll into balls!
