Quick and easy to make. The recipe as listed is rather bland we added chili sauce, extra garlic, salt & pepper. The kids loved it. Would be good for a busy night supper.

I doubled the recipe and used 3 cans of cream of mushroom and extra seasonings and everybody liked it alot.

A recipe is only a guideline. season to your personal taste and you will like it much better. I added onion celery and garlic to the meat and mixed vegetables to the rice. Everything got a splash of salt and pepper. My family ate it up.

As a twist on Shepherds Pie, this was very good. I like more vegetables in it, though, so I added diced onion, carrot and celery. I also seasoned the meat with a little salt and pepper. My family devoured it.

I used a bag of Frozen Peas and Mushrooms with Garlic Seasoning, a whole can of cream of mushroom soup and minute brown rice. It was edible but nothing exciting. I highly doubt my changes made that much of a difference in what the final product would have been. If I hadn't used the entire can of soup and more milk then the recipe would have turned out dry, mine was creamy which I feel worked best with the rice.

This turned out delicious. However, I made a slight variation. I used an entire soup can of Cheddar Cheese soup vs. the Cream of Celery. I also seasoned the ground beef with Emeril's Original Essence. Additionally I used 1 1/2 lbs of ground beef and sprinkled a layer of cheese on the beef first before layering the rice. I also topped the casserole with cheese as well. Next time I think I will do a layers of rice, beef, cheese, rice and cheese again to have more of a lasagna effect.

This was great! My husband loved it and he's SO picky! I used a can of green beans and about 1 cup of mixed veggies instead of the peas. I also added basil, salt, and pepper. The rice was a nice change to potatoes and theres so many ways to change it up! This is my lunch for taday and I will definitely make it again!
