This was a real disappointment. The recipe sounded good, but it was so bland! I don't know what you could add to give it more flavor, but it definitely needs SOMETHING! Might be ok with garlic mashed potatoes on top, instead of the white rice. I won't be making this again :(

I made this with steamed brown rice since it is preferred by my husband. The beef filling is good, but needs something more to kick up the taste. Loved the cheese topping.

This was good, but it seemed to be missing a little flavor.

My kids did not like this at all. I thought it was ok, but won't make again.

it is very easy to make different variations of this recipe just by using a different creamy soup or other seasonings.

I added a can of drained pinto beans, frozen mixed vegetables, and a couple dashes of hot sauce after it was cooked. I was worried about it being too bland after reading some of the reviews - these few changes made it very yummy! I'll definitely be making this again!

it was easy, but we ended up having to dress it up because it tasted very bland.

This recipe was easy to make, but tastes boring and may need more cream of celery soup.

I substituted shredded carrots for the peas for more texture.

This recipe was very bland. I tried adding the ketchup like the recipe said and i even tried adding some butter to the rice but it was still so bland. It was a strange recipe. Maybe adding the lipton onion soup mix like someone mentioned wouldve helped?
