This was a fabulous dish! I make my dinners ahead of time because I eat dinner at work and this was great fresh or warmed up the next day.

Cooking has never been one of my good traites. Usually the men in my household do the cooking and I do the cleaning. But tonight I took a chance and was told over and over how good it was. This will definately be made again. (BTW, I still had to clean up but that was okay.)

The first night I fixed this meal, my son and dauthter-in-law both raved over how great it was! We also tried this recipe using chicken breast and subtituting Mexican style tomatoes for the Italian style tomatoes. And we also substituted steak for the pork chops. Both were also excellent. This recipe is definitely one that we will make over and over again because it is so quick and delicious.

Diced tomatoes with basil oregano and garlic work well, but the sauce did not thicken. Next time I'm going to try stewed tomatoes with the same spices. Kids liked the chicken w/o the peppers but my husband and I loved the whole meal.

We loved this recipe. Instead of diced tomatoes, I used Progressive's chunky tomato soup, which is yummy enough to use as spaghetti sauce (a little on the sweet side), and it was perfect. I don't know if the brand matters, but this soup was so good and MADE for this recipe.
