What You Need

lb. lean ground beef

Tbsp. (1/2 of 1 pkt.) SHAKE 'N BAKE Extra Crispy Seasoned Coating Mix

carrots, finely shredded (about 1 cup)

1/2

cup KRAFT Shredded Cheddar & Monterey Jack Cheeses

1/4

cup KRAFT Classic CATALINA Dressing

Tbsp. less-sodium soy sauce

1-1/4

cups water

1-1/2

cups instant white rice, uncooked

Make It

MIX first 4 ingredients; shape into 16 meatballs.

COOK meatballs in large nonstick skillet on medium-high heat 8 min. or until evenly browned, stirring occasionally.

ADD remaining ingredients; mix well. Bring to boil; simmer on medium-low heat 1 min. Cover. Remove from heat; let stand 5 min. or until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed.

I used ground chicken. It was delicious, low-fat, and nutricious (especially with the hidden veggie- carrots). My husband and kids loved them!

Husband didn't like it at all. I think it was way too tangy for him. For me, it was 'tolerable'. Also, I didn't add the carrots or the soy sauce. Soy sauce probably would have balanced out the dressing, though. And my meatballs did stay together :)

My husband loved this recipe! I might make the meatballs in a seperate pan next time from the rice just so it looks better when its done. It had great taste although maybe a little less carrots. Thanks :) Easy and fast it doesn't get much better than this...

My three-year old loved this dinner! Any meal my three-year old will eat is certainly worth making again!

I've made this a couple times and really like the flavor of the Catalina, carrots, cheese, etc. - only thing is, I haven't been able to make my meatballs stay meatballs yet! I might try one more time with stuffing mix instead of the Shake'n Bake or I might try making this a meatLOAF instead.

I'd make it again because it is very quick. The taste is not superb, butits not bad either.
