This was great; everyone loved it! I made this 24 hrs in advance and would recommend that but if you can't do that long, then I think at least 5 hrs. It will be more flavorful the longer it sits and the bacon gets tender. If you let it sit, then there is not to much sour cream flavor, the other flavors will be enough.

This is absolutely wonderful! I took it to a party and everyone was asking for the recipe. I did add Garlic salt to it though to cover up the sour cream taste.

LOVE this dip! It's so versatile; anything from horseradish to powdered ranch tastes great in it. If nothing is added to the recipe, I find it's best to make it the day before. That way the flavors have time to come together, and it doesn't just taste like sour cream.

Love this recipe! Super easy to make and everyone loves it! Normally I serve it with wheat thins but other crackers or chips go nicely with it as well. If you want a quick and easy hit for a get together, give this a shot!

I made this recipe as is, but you mainly tasted the sour cream. Didn't have any ranch dressing mix so I just added some ranch dressing and my guests loved it!!

This is wonderful. Like others stated, I used real bacon (no skimping), used finely shredded cheese, and a dry ranch dressing mix. Can't wait to try it on Baked potatoes.
