What You Need

pkg. (2-layer size) devil's food cake mix

pkg. (4 oz.) BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate

1/4

cup butter

pkg. (8 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened

1/2

cup sugar

cups thawed COOL WHIP Whipped Topping

OREO Cookies, coarsely crushed

Make It

HEAT oven to 350ºF.

PREPARE cake batter and bake in 2 (9-inch) round pans as directed on package. Cool cakes in pans 10 min. Invert onto wire racks; gently remove pans. Cool cakes completely.

MICROWAVE chocolate and butter in small microwaveable bowl on HIGH 2 min. or until butter is melted. Stir until chocolate is completely melted. Cool 5 min. Meanwhile, beat cream cheese and sugar in large bowl with mixer until blended. Gently stir in COOL WHIP and crushed cookies.

PLACE 1 cake layer on plate, spread with cream cheese mixture. Top with remaining cake layer. Spread top with chocolate glaze; let stand 10 min. or until firm. Keep refrigerated.

Very good! I accidnetly bought a milk chocolate cake mix, and im sure the devils food makes it look even more like an actual oreo! But it was still dleicious...the cream is so yummy! Very nice presentation as well. Would reccommend!

AMAZING!!! Absolutely BEAUTIFUL, DELICIOUS, and so EASY to make. I have made this cake several times for all types of events & am asked for the recipe EVERY TIME!!! I decorate the top of my cakes with strawberries dipped in white chocolate!!! OUTSTANDING!!!

ONE OF THE BEST CAKES I EVER MADE.I HAVE MADE THIS CAKE ABOUT 12 TIMES AND HAVE NOT FOUND ANYONE WHO DID NOT LIKE IT.

I was confused, as I don't bake that much, as to whether the cake mix I bought was for a 2-layer cake or not. It was just the regular Pillsbury brand cake mix. My cake looked like a double stuffed Oreo! Was very good. Used margarine instead of butter but other than that I followed the recipe.

This cake is way too good!!! The filling is awesome!!! I made it for a party and it was gone within minutes. Everyone loved it some thought that I bought it from a bakery. Really easy to make looks and tastes great. I will make this again for sure. Thanks :)
