What You Need

pkg. (2-layer size) devil's food cake mix

pkg. (4 oz.) BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate

1/4

cup butter

pkg. (8 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened

1/2

cup sugar

cups thawed COOL WHIP Whipped Topping

OREO Cookies, coarsely crushed

Make It

HEAT oven to 350ºF.

PREPARE cake batter and bake in 2 (9-inch) round pans as directed on package. Cool cakes in pans 10 min. Invert onto wire racks; gently remove pans. Cool cakes completely.

MICROWAVE chocolate and butter in small microwaveable bowl on HIGH 2 min. or until butter is melted. Stir until chocolate is completely melted. Cool 5 min. Meanwhile, beat cream cheese and sugar in large bowl with mixer until blended. Gently stir in COOL WHIP and crushed cookies.

PLACE 1 cake layer on plate, spread with cream cheese mixture. Top with remaining cake layer. Spread top with chocolate glaze; let stand 10 min. or until firm. Keep refrigerated.

This cake was very moist and creamy. I made it for a birthday party, and everybody absolutely loved it! I used low fat cream cheese instead, and it was still awesome. I will make this again!

All of my grandkids enjoyed this for Thanksgiving this year. Very easy to make.Only had one problem-you need to keep the filling as cold as possible and the cake cool after filling. Otherwise it has a tendency to slide out the edges of the cake.

I made this for Thanksgiving along with pumpkin pie and another dessert. I loved the fact it looked like a giant Oreo (my favorite cookie) and it was really easy to make...The only bad thing is it was a little rich, heavy after a huge Thanksgiving meal..But I will make it again since everyone loved it...

Wonderful, not overly sweet. Glaze did not set up well too runny I did add more chocolate and chilled before putting on top. Everyone loved it!

I made this for Thanksgiving. Went together very easily, a must to keep it chilled. Glaze did not come out as pictures, but tasted great. MY KIDS LOVED IT.
