What You Need

pkg. (2-layer size) devil's food cake mix

pkg. (4 oz.) BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate

1/4

cup butter

pkg. (8 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened

1/2

cup sugar

cups thawed COOL WHIP Whipped Topping

OREO Cookies, coarsely crushed

Make It

HEAT oven to 350ºF.

PREPARE cake batter and bake in 2 (9-inch) round pans as directed on package. Cool cakes in pans 10 min. Invert onto wire racks; gently remove pans. Cool cakes completely.

MICROWAVE chocolate and butter in small microwaveable bowl on HIGH 2 min. or until butter is melted. Stir until chocolate is completely melted. Cool 5 min. Meanwhile, beat cream cheese and sugar in large bowl with mixer until blended. Gently stir in COOL WHIP and crushed cookies.

PLACE 1 cake layer on plate, spread with cream cheese mixture. Top with remaining cake layer. Spread top with chocolate glaze; let stand 10 min. or until firm. Keep refrigerated.

Super yummy!! I've made this a few times, I used low fat cream cheese and low cal cool whip. Next time I'm going to make it as a triffle. I think it would hold up better, using the low fat products made it a bit runny.

I love this recipe. I have made it a few times and have even made it with Strawberry Oreos with a Strwaberry cake and Strawberry Icing. LOVE IT!!!

I made this cake for my family christmas party and for my office, it was a hit at both. I have been ask many times for the recipe and had many comments on not only the good taste but how nice it looks. I have been asked to bring it to all the family functions! Thanks for the Great recipe!

This cake was amazing! Looking at it you would think it is over the top sweet, but it isn't. My bunco group of 10 almost ate the entire cake, which never happens. There were barely two pieces left for my family to try. I will make this cake again very soon!

This is one of my families favorite desserts. We make it all the time. Most times I skip the chocolate topping and it is still great

This cake is soooo good. Awsome. My friends and I made it and took a picture part way though. We needed it for proof that it was not store bought. One of our other friends came over after it was done. He wanted to know what store and how much. I had the picture as proof. He took a HUGE slice home. I will definitely be making this again. SOON!!

I absolutely love this cake!!! I have gotten such rave reviews from this little beauty, and yes everyone thinks it's a giant oreo!! I get requests for work related functions for this all the time. I am making it today for my son's birthday party. This cake has become an instant favorite in our family.
