What You Need

pkg. (2-layer size) devil's food cake mix

pkg. (4 oz.) BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate

1/4

cup butter

pkg. (8 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened

1/2

cup sugar

cups thawed COOL WHIP Whipped Topping

OREO Cookies, coarsely crushed

Make It

HEAT oven to 350ºF.

PREPARE cake batter and bake in 2 (9-inch) round pans as directed on package. Cool cakes in pans 10 min. Invert onto wire racks; gently remove pans. Cool cakes completely.

MICROWAVE chocolate and butter in small microwaveable bowl on HIGH 2 min. or until butter is melted. Stir until chocolate is completely melted. Cool 5 min. Meanwhile, beat cream cheese and sugar in large bowl with mixer until blended. Gently stir in COOL WHIP and crushed cookies.

PLACE 1 cake layer on plate, spread with cream cheese mixture. Top with remaining cake layer. Spread top with chocolate glaze; let stand 10 min. or until firm. Keep refrigerated.

This cake is super Yummy and rates high on the "I want more" scale. I can't wait to make it for my kids' birthdays in March and April....they are huge Oreo fans and this will be perfect!

The Oreo filling was delicious and easy to make. The cake was a hit! I would suggest adding more cookies for greater flavor.

MMMM good!! This cake was very simple to make, but tastes and looks as if it were bought from a bakery. This recipe is definitely worth making over and over. This will be my new "bring to" dessert.

Easy, easy, easy. My three little girls loved it and my soon-to-be six year old wants it as her birthday cake with sprinkles added on top. It's just as fun to look at as it is to eat. A fast, fun recipe.

This cake really wasn't that hard to make. I used reduced-fat cream cheese and Lite Cool Whip and only 1/4 cup butter (in the chocoalte topping) and I thought it turned out perfect! I served it chilled to a group of guests and they raved - nobody noticed the lost fat! I'll definitely be making this again.
