What You Need

pkg. (19.5 oz.) brownie mix

1/4

cup (1/2 stick) butter, cut up

oz. (1/2 of 8-oz. pkg.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, cubed

1/2

cup firmly packed brown sugar

cup BAKER'S ANGEL FLAKE Coconut

cup PLANTERS Pecan Pieces

Make It

PREHEAT oven to 350°F. Prepare brownie mix as directed on package for cake-like brownies. Pour batter into greased 13x9-inch baking pan.

PLACE butter and cream cheese in small saucepan; cook on medium heat until cream cheese is completely melted and mixture is well blended, stirring frequently. Stir in brown sugar. Add coconut and pecans; mix well. (Mixture will be thick.) Drop spoonfuls of the cream cheese mixture over brownie batter in pan.

BAKE 30 min. or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 1 hour. Store leftover cake in the refrigerator.

Make cleanup easier by lining baking pan with foil before using. To easily remove the baked cake from pan, extend foil beyond sides of pan. Then use the foil as handles to remove the cake from the pan.

I found the recipe to be easy and very delicious. I poured chocolate frosting over the cake while it was still warm and served with ice cream.

This is a very easy cake to make and not only easy but it tastes "hulalaaaa" very yummy!! I made it for my neighbour and friends and they all asked for recipe. Try and you'll see what I mean..

The actual looks so much better than the picture... I made these for a fund raiser at church and was asked to make them the following week as well because they sold so fast! Really good!

The brownie I made looks a whole lot better than the picture on the website. It is sooooo good! Moist, rich & gooey...YUM! Just like the way I want it!

I made it for a birthday party at work--everybody raved how wonderful it was!! I thought it was simple and easy to make. I used the brownie mix that had chocolate chunks--and it made it moist and soft. I made it per the brownie recipe on the box(not the cake-like recipe) and it turned out like german chocolate brownies-YUMMY !!! :)

I was disappointed. The topping was extremely hard. I could have done something wrong, but I wouldn't make it again.

I accidentally doubled the topping part which made it way too rich. I will probably make it again, this time with the right proportions. It was just alright for me.
