No-Cream Creamy Broccoli Soup

No-Cream Creamy Broccoli Soup recipe
There’s more to this better-for-you soup than the name suggests. Like four flavorful veggies, rice and savory grated Parm. A warm, smooth, satisfying bowl of goodness.

Made this soup on a cold day. Very bland! Ended up tossing the whole thing.

Made this soup on a cold, dreary, rainy Saturday. Enjoyed cups of it all day long to warm the body. Made the warm lemon cake the same day too. Made the day seem not so dreary. Brought the left-overs to place of employment on Monday and shared it with co-workers. They raved about it too!

i added cheddar cheese to try to spruce this up a bit. But when you purree it, it just kind of tastes mushy. Also, needs a few more spices to give it more flavor

We all thought this was great! I think maybe next time I will try some variations...like adding potatoes or something. It is just as good without adding anything though!

I put in more veggies than the receipe called for and used low-fat shredded cheddar cheese which gave it a sharper flavor. It had a hearty consistency but it was a bit rich. My family didn't know it was low fat, so it was a big hit! I would probably make it again and after putting it through the food processor, add some diced chicken.

I did not like this recipe, it turned out very bland and didn't taste very good

My soup did not look at all like the picture. I would perhaps pulse rather than puree the ingredients. The taste was fine, but it was more drinkable rather than something to eat with a spoon.

My soup did not look like the picture. I added more rice and maybe a tad more cheese. The taste was very good!! I'd definitely make again.

didn't look like the picture, yucky green color, but tasted pretty good. I'd make it again.
