I also found the filling very runny... I put the filling in the freezer for a while to firm up. Although a lot more work than anticipated, it tasted amazing! <<< Response from Kraft Kitchens Expert, Wendy ~ Please be sure to use INSTANT Pudding and Pie Filling Mix, not Cook ‘N Serve. >>>

Steps must be missing! I followed this recipe exactly however the filling was too runney. It was all liquid instead of a pudding filling. I ended up pouring it down the drain and makely my own filling and frosting.

The frosting looked more like coolwhip w/choc chunks instead of the pic, but tasted excellent. I also did not use the orange extract, and it still was great

This was delicious. I used semi-sweet chips instead of the chunks. However--the frosting was a nightmare! I followed the diretions and it turned out terrible. I had to use packaged frosting.

Everyone loves this cake. It looks fancy, but it so easy to make.

This was a smash hit at Christmas. However, I used almond extract instead of the orange. Also, I used additional butter while melting the chocolate for the topping. It made it much easier to spread and not so hard when it cooled. Everyone loved it.

My kids loved this cake. I added a little more orange extract in the frosting. It was terrific.

I made this for Thanksgiving. Everyone loved it. My husband is Italian and loves canolis and this is his new favorite. He said it tastes even better than a Canoli. I followed the directions all the way except I added a little bit of milk to the cool whip and chocolate frosting to make it more spreadable.

Got great reviews from the Fam, but you need to know that the melted chocolate "icing" hardens VERY quickly, and I would use more chocolate in general as there wasn't really enought to cover the cake. Liek the other gal, I found 3 layers worked better than 4. Enjoy!
