I have made this recipe many times. It is a favorite of everyone. If you love lemon like we do, I use half water and half lemon juice to give it more flavor. I used vanilla pudding instead and this is just as good.
I have made this many many times. It isn't a pretty desert but it is delicious. I also always change the lemon pudding to vanilla or white chocolate. Delicious!!! I put it in the fridge and it's great cold too! I never have a problem with boiling over or clean up. Great job Kraft!
I made this for our Sunday Evening Gospel sing and got rave reviews. I made 10 copy's to give around and have heard wonderful praise from some that are hard to please.
Very good recipe but instead of a sheet cake I made cup cakes using foil cup cake holders to line the cup cake pan because of the lemon filling turn out very good

Finally! A recipe that turns out like the old favorite Betty Crocker Lemon Pudding Cake box mix which I have been searching for! I use a lasagna pan with higher sides so no problem with it bubbling over, a lemon cake mix and left out the extra sugar. Yours won't look like the photo unless you let it get cold and the pudding gel up, and then it won't be as good, but I love the warm cake with the warm lemon pudding sauce spooned over it, a nice homey dessert...much like the old Hot Fudge Pudding Cake recipe (which you could duplicate with a chocolate cake mix and chocolate pudding). So happy to have found this cozy, yummy dessert again!
I would've liked a brighter lemon taste, but this was tasty, easy, quick, and a hit at my potluck.
I made this recipe I used lemon cake mix and lemon pudding cheese cake pudding along with if it baked really well but I baked it at 325 letting have time in the oven to rise it baked and did not spill over the pan at all because I used a 11X 15 glass pan same as the recipe no mess in my oven which is good
I would not make this one again!
