Gently falling snow, good. Unrelenting icy rain, not so much. Tame winter with a forkful of lemony sunshine in a warm, moist pudding cake with a citrus tang.

I make this cake all the time and do it totally sugar free. Cake mix, pudding, cool whip and low fat milk. It is beyond wonderful and lets my hubby enjoy a rich treat. I also have passed it on to lots of my friends and they feel the same way.

This is a very moist dessert and was a big hit with the family. Next time I think I will try butterscotch pudding to see if it goes over as well.

This cake was a seller with my family! I used lemon cake mix instead of yellow And added the juice of a half lemon. We liked the cake warm more then cold!

I'm not big on lemon at all but I was making this for a friend who is and everyone loved it. I felt the texture was pretty good and it was perfect for the cold weather we had last night. I will be making this again.

My husband loves lemon flavor. I added grated lemon rind to the pudding. It is delicious.

I've made this recipe several times and it is always a hit. It is rich, delicious and easy to make. I thought the bottom would be soggy but it was not. I made the recipe as is and it is not too lemony, which my guest enjoyed. I've not tried other combinations, but after reading reviews, I will have to!

Love, love, love this cake! I immediately made it the first time I saw it. Two little observations: 1. You don't need the added sugar, it's great without it. 2. You can use other pudding/cake flavors with the same kind of outcome, especially chocolate cake/chocolate pudding. Try it!

love this cake! i am not a 'frosting' fan, and with a spoonful of cool whip, this is a warm and creamy treat without the heaviness of a frosting.

I love warm lemon deserts and I hated this. The texture was gross and the flavor was bad. Threw the whole cake in the garbage.
