I won't make this again. The only part of this cake that we loved was the whipped cream I served it with. It just tasted like a yellow cake from a mix...not what I expected with the add-ons. If you make it, be sure to put it on a cookie sheet with sides as it suggests or you will have a HUGE mess to clean up in your oven. Most of the pudding actually ended up on my cookie sheet.

This is over the top GOOD. Made this the first time in 2006 when it appeared in food and family magazine.This is a sweet comfort treat you want to savor. Curl up in a big easy chair, in a fuzzy robe near a the fireplace, and enjoy. Sweet dreams.

Great cake and very easy to make. I have served this to company and they all wanted the recipe. You can use diffeent puddings and different cake mixes.

This cake was very good but also very rich! I added the extra lemon juice to give it a bit more lemon flavor. It is the best when it is warm.

The second time I made this cake I used a lemon cake mix. It was so much better. The lemon flavor really came through.

I have made this recipe as stated and for those chocolate lover, try it with fudge cake mix and chocolate pudding. Serve with ice cream or cool whip. Both cakes are delicious.

Unbelievable! I usually don't make cakes from mixes but this was exceptional, moist and delicious, really great warm.
