I made the original recipe and served it when we had friends over. The four adults and seven kids all LOVED it! This is a great recipe, will certainly be making again and again!

Because some of my family doesn't care for lemon, I used a devil's food cake mix and chocolate pudding. I had read some reviews saying that the pudding was too watery, so I left out 1/4 cup of milk and used 1 large box of pudding rather than 2 small. The cake stayed super moist, and the pudding was just the right consistency. With a sprinkle of confectioner's sugar and a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream, this dessert was loved by everyone!

My family was not really happy with the Lemon. However in a fit of genius I made it with a Chocolate Fudge cake mix and Chocolate pudding mix. It was so good, alot like the moltent cake at certain restaraunts.

It was totally different and mouth watering. You couldn't eat just one piece. You had to have seconds.

I have made this recipe twice. Both my husband, and I, like it TOO much. The second time I made the cake, I sent two large pieces over to our neighbors. They both raved about how deliciou the cake was with a cup of coffee. This is a keeper recipe for sure.

My husband actually said this was the best dessert I've ever made. Needless to say my jaw dropped and I will be making it again.
