Absolutely wonderful for dessert on a chilly night. Even good chilled the next day. Can't wait to try other flavors.

This dessert was delicious! The lemon pudding was a great addition to yellow cake, although not as tangy as I'd like. Easy to make and would be easy to tweak...perhaps red velvet cake with a french vanilla pudding. Yum!

I made it with a DH coconut cake mix and then used coconut instant pudding. YUM!!!!! Can't wait to try other combinations.

My son wanted to try Boston cream pie and it is not one of my favorites. So like mom2fussbudgets, I used this recipe with vanilla pudding and a rich chocolate glaze. I used real butter, instead of oil, in the cake and added some vanilla extract as well. I pricked the top of the cake while it was still hot and then poured the warm glaze over it. Served it cold. Looks like the photo..only with glaze. Slices well. BIG hit! My son can't believe I don't care for "Boston cream pie". Will make again will choc/choc or maybe spice/vanilla

My family loved this cake. If I make it again, will try sugar free pudding to decrease calories and will make the cake by low fat method and see if just as good.

I made this cake for a neighborhood get together and everyone loved it. The left overs were just as good cold the next day.

This was terrific straight from the oven. I was also pleasantly surprised to find that it re-heated well in the microwave (single serving, 25-30 seconds).

This cake was so moist and good. I substituted chocolate cake and chocolate pudding--my kids loved it and are requesting it again. I plan on making it again with butterscotch pudding and chocolate cake. Tastes great with vanilla ice cream or a dollop of cool whip.

My family enjoyed this cake. Be sure to have the pan on a cookie sheet when baking as it does bubble over like it says during the baking process. Very tasty!
