Warm Winter Lemon Cake

Warm Winter Lemon Cake recipe
Gently falling snow, good. Unrelenting icy rain, not so much. Tame winter with a forkful of lemony sunshine in a warm, moist pudding cake with a citrus tang.

Not sure why others had problems with this recipe. I made it for guests and everyone loved it. The pudding is indeed a bit more runny when it's right out of the oven, but when it's cool, it's quite solid. Taste was very good as well, both warm and cold.

Came out just ok. Followed the recipe exactly - pudding came out runny. Cake overall looked messy and didn't thrill me taste-wise. Wouldn't make again

Made this for friends and we all loved it! I did add the extra lemon juice- good flavor. I didn't have any spill over, but my suggestion is to CAREFULLY and SLOWLY pour the pudding into the batter so that is is evenly distributed.

This was a disaster! A big pile of undercooked mess in the center. I put it back in the oven twice! Cooked for 90 minutes. What did I do wrong?

1st made this in chocolate using reduced sugar cake & pudding. Just made it with lemon cake & cheesecake pudding adding 4 oz of cream cheese to the pudding and when serving I topped with cherry pie filling. Um,Um Good!!!

This was delicious and very easy to make. I used lemon cake mix, along with lemon pudding. As one reviewer said - it didn't look that great -- but who cares! It surely was good!

Not worth it!

Next time I would try a lemon cake mix the yellow one doesn't add anything to the final product.

I won't make this again. The only part of this cake that we loved was the whipped cream I served it with. It just tasted like a yellow cake from a mix...not what I expected with the add-ons. If you make it, be sure to put it on a cookie sheet with sides as it suggests or you will have a HUGE mess to clean up in your oven. Most of the pudding actually ended up on my cookie sheet.
