Perfect Winter Beef Stew

Perfect Winter Beef Stew recipe

"Tasty" barely begins to describe this stew. With savory beef, rich bacon, veggies and hearty potatoes, "perfect" is a much closer word.

A fantastic recipe that's easy, yet tastes like hours were spent slaving over the stove. A big hit with my family! Bravo!

Very tasty, but I would cook it for a bit longer than recommended.

Excellent I did add more bacon to mine. And more f vegetables to it. I didn't use the beef broth i used the beef cubes and made it better.

I used a Dutch oven for the entire preparation. Because I had to pick up my wife at the airport, I turned off the heat after the 1 hr 15 min simmering, leaving the covered stew on the stove. When I returned (1 hr 15 min later), I turned on the heat again for another hour of simmering. Served with baking powder biscuits and salad. Superb meal!

This was the best beef stew I ever tasted! It was hearty and very east to make. My husband does not eat veggies so I invited my neighbor over to try it and we ate 2 bowls in a row! This will become a family favorite for sure. Thanks Kraft!!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! I REALLY CAN'T THINK OF A THING I WOULD CHANGE. I USED OTHERS IDEA AND SERVED WITH RICE AND THAT MADE IT EVEN BETTER. I GUESS IT IS THE TOMATOES, THERE IS A HINT OF FLAVOR THAT YOU GET EVER SO OFTEN AND IT IS JUST ENOUGH JUST TO MAKE YOU WANT TO TAKE ANOTHER BITE! ENJOY AND GOD BLESS!
