I made this recipe for my wife and she loved it and she normally doesn't like stews.

Everyone loved this stew, even my picky people who don't normally like soups or stews. AND it was really easy to make.

My husband, who normally does not like beef stew, said we could definitely have this again. In fact, he was taking the left-overs to work for lunch! The only drawback was the amount of time in prep work. Be sure you give yourself enough time to cut the meat and all the veggies.

I made this for dinner tonight and it was delicious! I used less potatoes and added a packet of beef stew seasoning. It was so easy and the best beef stew I have ever had!

I've made this twice. The first time followed the recipe exactly and it was very good. Second time I did not have bacon, used veggie broth and added celery. Still very good!

I'm making this again today - it's so cold out - and my family loves it! I add extra mushrooms (because I love them) and less potatoes (because I just don't like potatoes in stews or soups).
