I have made this twice now, both times in the slow cooker. It's incredible, my whole family loved it. I use a top round roast instead of stew quality beef. Definitely recommend it.

WOW is all I can say! My husband who is not a Stew person loved this!! I did make this in a slow cooker. I did not change anything, but I did flour the meat before I put it in the cooker and added everything on top. It make a wonderful sauce, with out having to add the flour later. Thank you Kraft!

I've made this recipe twice and really liked it both times even though it came out different each time. First time was perfect. Last time the sauce didn't quite thicken like it was supposed to but still good none-the-less. I put the left-overs in the freezer so when I cook it next I will just thinken it up with alittle flour and water.

I loved it so much better than normal stew. Plan to add some peas to the mix next time.

Not a fan of beef stew But this made me change my mind. My wife made this earlier this week and it was great! Even took the left overs for lunch ! So far all recipes have been good .If you have not tried it you need to.

My husband & I both thought this recipe was delicious. I added some dried thyme, a bay leaf and a splash of red wine per our taste. More like a French style stew, rather than a thicker stew with a heavy gravy. This one is definitely a keeper!!

I have made this recipe a few times now. My husband loves how tender the meat is! The only changes I made were cutting back on the amount of carrots and leaving out the mushrooms (to help the stew to be more kid pleasing). Overall, excellent recipe! EASY!

I made it today. Very good. Smells so good cooking. I did change a few things. After precooking onion and mushrooms and adding meat, I drained off whatever liquid had accumulated because I thought the marinade smell was too strong. Also, I didn't add the bacon. I topped it with dumplings.
