These were great!! They were a big hit at our party. I used swiss cheese instead of mozzarella and they were alot better.

This was a little salty with the ham. I will try it with turkey next time. Pretty good though - my guests really liked them alot. They will fill you up though.

I don't think the recipe is really a calzone. I used the twisty breadsticks because they were easy to fold and flatten. I also put down a layer of spagetti sauce before putting in the meat and cheese. I actually used different meats and cheeses. Some of them had the ham and mozzarella, some of them were ham and pepperjack cheese, some were pepperoni and mozzarella, and some were pepperoni and pepperjack cheese. It was fun, and everyone really liked them. It was a little bit of work to put them together, but they cooked really fast.

It was a little time consuming to get the dough to work well and even then the calzones didn’t come out looking very good. [I really like my food to look like art. :)] They taste okay, but it’s not worth the trouble to make them.

I wasn't really crazy about this. There was much flavor and I don't think I will make it again. Too much work for something so small and tasteless.

Does take a bit of time to get the breadstick dough to work. I used a rolling pin to flatten, then I cut the dough in half. Great with dipping sauces!

I bought Pillsberry origingal breadsticks 12 to a can. They were difficult to roll out and would tear apart very easily. These were very time consuming also. I wanted them for a church function but will not make these again when wanting something quick!!
