This recipe is way easy and has many possibilities... I added more to the bean mixture, chopped green pepper, frozen corn and I topped the salad with green onions... Mmmmm My husband and his friend love eat bite of it!!! Thanks Kraft....

We like a bit more flavor, so I use half a packet of taco seasoning mix in the meat, and make my own dressing by simmering tomato puree with sauteed onions and garlic, and spices -- YUM! We also prefer the flavor and color of black beans. Boost the nutritional value by brushing the inside of the tortilla with olive oil before baking. Note: this is a very wasteful method of shaping tortillas!! Lay them over the top of egg poaching cups, or small oven-safe custard cups or ramekins on a baking sheet; be creative, not wasteful!

Loved the salad. I used black beans instead of the kidney beans and a low carb tortilla and it tasted great!

Very easy for a non-experienced cook and husband loved it. He doesn't even need to eat healthy and we both can't wait to eat the left overs!

Hubby and Kids Loved this! I was shocked! I used refried bean instead of kidney beans and I did not use the ranch or tomatoes.

This recipe was GREAT! I added and changed a few things to what I like. For toppings I added onion, cilantro, salsa and sour cream instead of the ranch. I will make it again.

I have made this a couple of times. The shells are wonderful. I have never hade such a good taco salad.
