I've been looking for recipe to make taco salad in tortilla bowl. This is great, I used empty can instead crumble foil it turn out great. I improvised the recipes, used chicken, and anything in my refrigerator, the family loved it.

Excellent!! I like to experiment with new recipes, and even my male roommate loved it, he didn't care that it was just a salad. Very tasty and filling!

This method for making the shells worked perfectly. Make sure, as others have said, to flatten the top of the ball to make the bottom of the shell flat and able to stand on it's own. Tasty and portion controlled. Really liked this.

This recipe was a nice variation from my usual family size taco salad I make for my family. However, I suggest using store bought taco salad "bowls". The homemade baked ones from the recipe came out too chewy and hard to break apart even though they feel crispy on the outside

Easy weeknight meal. Both my husband and I loved it.

I really enjoyed this recipe. I made it with kidney and black beans though. My family thought it was ok but a little too spicey. I used med. salsa and the whole TBSP chili powder. Will probably use less chili powder next time.
