Creamy Layered Fruit Sensation

At every party there seems to be a star at the dessert table—and this creamy layered fruit bowl mixed with vanilla pudding will be it.

What You Need

Tbsp. orange juice

1/4

tsp. almond extract

pkg. (10 oz.) prepared angel food cake, cut into 2-inch cubes

pkg. (1 oz. each) JELL-O Vanilla Flavor Fat Free Sugar Free Instant Pudding

cups cold fat-free milk

cups thawed COOL WHIP Sugar Free Whipped Topping, divided

pkg. (12 oz. each) frozen unsweetened mixed berries (raspberries, blueberries, sliced strawberries), thawed, well drained

Make It

MIX juice and extract. Drizzle over cake cubes in large bowl; toss to coat.

BEAT pudding mixes and milk in medium bowl with whisk 2 min. Stir in 1 cup COOL WHIP.

RESERVE a few berries for garnish. Place half the cake cubes in 2-qt. glass bowl; top with layers of half each of the remaining berries and pudding mixture. Repeat layers. Refrigerate 2 hours. Top with remaining COOL WHIP and reserved berries just before serving.

I made this for our 4th of July cookout and it was a big hit with everyone, even the kids! I will definitely make this again, it will be great for potlucks as well. Light and low fat, and easy to make!

I am the dessert maker of the family the only one alouded to bng dessets to family gatterings. I make something each time so different and good that everyone wants more. That must say something GREAT about me in the kitchen.

This recipe is very delicious. You would never know that it is light. A friend stopped by and I had to give him extra to take home. A big hit!

This was very tasty and easy to make. When I make it again I will not toss almond extract with the angel food cake, maybe put it in with the cool whip. The cake became soggy and wasn't good the next day.

I loved this...and so did the folks at the potluck I made it for! Afterwards the gal who put it all together came to return the bowl which had this dessert in it and said she didn't get to taste it, because it was gone! Then another lady came by and saw the empty bowl I had in my arms and said, "Did YOU make that creamy fruit thing? That was fantastic!" Thanks Kraft, I gave you all the credit, but it was nice to make something people enjoy:)
