Everyone LOVED this recipe! I used skim milk, and fat free cool whip along with fresh berries... Completely fat free.

I prepared this dessert for a "girls" luncheon and everyone enjoyed it. Since it was all adults I used amaretto in place of the almond extract, and I used lemon pudding in place of the vanilla. The next time I make this (and I will) I will use the vanilla pudding as the recipe calls for. I will again use the amaretto, but I will increase the amount of the orange juice and amaretto to better soak the angel food cake. And I think I'll increase the amount of berries also. This made a very pretty presentation in my trifle bowl.

My family loves this dessert. My husband said he wanted me to keep some of this on hand at all times. He's never said that about anything low fat before. Its fabulous.

This was very good and a nice refreshing dessert for the summer months. Everyone had seconds including me. I only used one bag of frozen berries and thought that was enough because I didn't want the cake to get to soggy.
