Black Forest Mousse Dessert recipe

With all those layers of flavor going on, serving it up in a clear bowl is a must. As always, chocolate plus cherries adds up to one delicious dessert.

it was so fast and easy and everybody loves it they think i went way beyond the norm
My son loves cherries, and I had the ingredients on hand, so I decided to make this just for fun. WOW! My family loved it and it is a recipe I will definitely make again!
This dessert tastes delicious and looks great in a trifle dish, plus it's easy to use lowfat/fat-free versions of the ingredients. I used 12 ozs. Cool Whip instead of 8. I also tried the recipe with vanilla pudding, Golden Oreos and strawberry pie filling, but cherry would have been better as the strawberry was too sweet.
I got great comments on this one. However I do think I would make it a bit on the smaller side next time I make it.
We liked it, you can replace the cherry filling with marchino cherries and it tastes a little bit better and not to pie fillingish.
I made it for my fiance's birthday and his whole family loved it. It was fabulous! Wouldn't change a thing and I can't wait to make it again.
Easy to make. My daughter enjoyed helping me make it and loved eating it!
I made this for a party (about 30 people), i had about 2 servings left by the end of the night! It was a huge hit...I am definitely making this again! I put in almost an entire small package of oreos and I put in 2 large cans of cherries- i was afraid it might be too cool whippy, it tasted great with my slight additions. My boyfriend requested I make it again for this weekend! It looked amazing too in a trifle dish- presentation and appeal is what makes a dish!
I brought this to game night with the girls and it was about gone by the end of the night -- it was OH SO GOOD!
I made this dessert for a dinner my husband and I were invited to in which I was asked to bring a dessert. Our friends absolutely LOVED the dessert and so did my husband and I. The only thing I would change, is I would use only the cherry glaze for the layering and then use the cherries alongwith the glaze for the top layer. After a while of eating the dessert, some of us got a little "cherried-out" but we all still loved it! :)
