About 7 years ago I started making Kraft Mac & Cheese with green beans. Guess I was ahead of my time but think adding fresh vegetables (like broccoli, carrots, etc.,) is a great alternative.

I sometimes drain a can of tuna and add that. Then I also add a slice or two of Kraft cheese to make it a little cheesier.

We loved this dish; not only was it tasty but so easy, too. I've made mac & cheese from scratch in the summer when we've had garden vegetables to add to it, but I never thought of making a version like this during the winter. Now I'll be making it like this all the time. Thank you for a wonderful idea.

I have a very hard time getting my children to eat veggies, I am a mom of 22 mth old triplets and they inhaled this, I could not get it on thier plate fast enougth and they ate it two days in a row. I will be making this again
