I ended up having to cook this for 30 more minutes than the recipe asked for. After that the chicken was still raw so I ended up having to cut it up finish it in a frying pan.

This recipe definitely needs some salt, but it was really easy to make and tasted really good. The rice comes out a little bland so it really helps to add your own spices to it.

this is really good and really easy! there were two problems i had the first time. one was that when i put the rice on the foil, the water kept leaking out of the sides (all the water doesn't get absorbed during the 5 minutes) when i tried to fold it up. i fixed this by getting a plate that is slightly rounded and making the packet on the plate instead of a flat surface. the second issue i had was the rice needed a bit more seasoning to our taste. i seasoned the rice with chili powder and cumin and also mixed some picante sauce with the ranch dressing and added a little more of that on top (the picante sauce makes the 'dressing' go farther and has less calories and fat).

This was so easy and good!!! I did use Italian dressing instead of Ranch and it was great. Will make this again for sure.

Very good, easy, and fast. After reading other reviews about crunchy rice, I put a couple of spoonfuls of water over the rice after putting it on the aluminum foil. Seemed to work well because I didn't have crunchy rice. For extra heat, serve with Tobasco!

This was fantastic! My husband doesn't like ranch dressing, so we used Italian and it turned out great. We will definitely make this again.

First, we mixed the chili powder with the ranch. Second, the rice needs seasoning - either make it with chicken broth or make extra chili-powder/ranch sauce and mix it with the rice.

This was good. Next time, I will use some type of spicy marinade for the chicken. It wasn't quite seasoned like I would have wanted.
