I added one more potatoe to the recipe along with two more ounces of the cheese, and about 3/4 cup of milk in all -- which made the potatoes go around the table farther. My family LOVED this recipe! I would definitely make this again ... and soon! Yum Yum!

I've made this recipe before but added 1/4 C finely chopped green onions and 1 C cooked left-over ham that has been finely chopped. A friend has nickname these "TO DIE FOR POTATOES!"

I loved this recipe as did family. I make one simular but I use a small cream cheese instead of Velveta and use sour cream instead of milk. When I serve it at family get togethers raves. When I ask what can I bring to a invitation to dinner either your recipe or mine is requested.

I make a similar recipie with left over
mashed potatoes, sour cream, diced onion and
shredded cheddar cheese. Spread potato
mixture with out cheese in prepared baking
dish. Sprinkle cheese on top. bake until
melted and it is great. salt and pepper to
taste. All ingredients are to taste..This
came from a polish recipe no
measurements!!!
