AMAZING! Of course, not like 5 star resturant risotto, but for home cooking, this was great. will make again.

I didn't have fresh mushrooms so I used canned and we loved it. It was a quick and easy meal after a hard day at work.

I love things on the spicy side so I added a dash of crushed red pepper to the shrimp while I cooked it. This was delicious!

Totally boring and uneventful recipes. There are hundreds of recipes with shrimp that taste better. This didn't remind me of risotto at all.

I used baby portebellos instead of shitake mushrooms. They have an earthier flavor so I would suggest using the shitake or crimini mushrooms instead. My husband love it and he is a picky eater. Usually a meat and potatoes man!

I think it would also be good with chicken instead of shrimp

My husband doesn't like rice so I used Orzo instead. It was great. I also used canned mushrooms and they worked well. This recipe's a "keeper"! (I previously rated this and accidently said I used risotti...that was a mistake, it was orzo)

I will add green pepper, 1/4 tsp of thyme, and some white wine. then is will have more color, and flavor and be 5 star.

I made this for supper last night, and my husband and I loved it! It was super easy, and super good. My husband told me to add this one to the recipe box.
