this is awsome chicken. i used season all, black pepper, paprika, and rubbed sage. rubbed that and the honey all over and in the chicken before baking - used a hen. add water to the bottom of the pan and basted every 20 - 30 minutes. kept covered with foil and kept temp at 400. Made long grain rise - 1/4 tsp of orange extract and a splash of olive oil. the pan drippings make an excellent sauce for the rice. we will be eating this again!

I made the chicken, not the rice. I was a bit skeptical it wouldn't have much flavor but it was very good and so moist.

This was so easy! Instead of the one hen I had 2 22oz Corned hens and put them in the oven for 60 min at 350 and it was amazing! They were so juicy and tender. I also didn't have any juices from the small chickens so I poured 1 can of chicken broth into the pan and basted with that and the honey. I didn't make the rice, it didn't sound appetizing to me or my hubby.

My family wasn't too keen on the rice, but the chicken went over well.

I made this for Easter dinner last year, and served it with asparagus and yellow peppers. Even my hard-to-please dad loved it!

The chicken was absolutely DELICIOUS! It does take more than 50 min. to cook on 350 degrees, alot longer! I suggest keeping it at 400 degrees and rubbing it with honey about every 20 min. I didnt make the rice... it didnt sound too good, but I could be wrong =)

Chicken was very good. My husband didn't like the rice because he is not big on orange flavored things, but I thought the rice was wonderful!

Well, the chicken is still in the oven, but it was so easy to make. I can't wait to try it! The rice was so easy to make and tasts so amazing. I didn't know what the orange thing you had to do was, so I thought i'd try something similar to it. I used 2 cups of lots of pulp orange juice by Tropicana. It was easier and tasts awesome. I have a 2 year old and I know she'll love it with it's sweet taste. Will definitely make again!

This is an excellent recipe! My 3 year old usually won't eat an entire cooked meal, but gobbled this up on Easter. And it was SO EASY to make! The rice dish is delicious and a great companion to the chicken. I will definitely be making this recipe again in the future.
