I've made this many times for my husband & kids and they LOVE it. We're vegetarian, so I use beans and whatever veggies we have on hand. It's so easy and tastes great!

I loved this recipe! I went with the ground beef, corn, salsa and green onion. I was a little unsure if my family would like it, but I was pleasantly suprised when they enjoyed it so much. I served the casserole with sour cream and tortilla chips. I've already shared the recipe with several people and plan on making it again very soon.

I made the chicken BBQ and the family could not get enough of it.

I added a pinch of chili powder while browning the meat. Also, I used vidalia onions in place of the green onions. I cooked them in a skillet before adding them to the casserole.

Has anyone tried frozen tator tots as the potatoes? Does that work?

I have made the chicken BBQ one before and the hubby & 5& 7 year boys LOVED it..I added lots of vegs and the boys didn't mind one bit. So I decided to make the pizza version one.. I haven't seen any rates so I made it and kids LOVED it too and asked for seconds. Served with green salad. So dont be scared try it!! just make sure you add a little salt to to tators. OH and I have seen that someone said that the tators were soggy.. Sorry but you cook them with too much oil.. try less next time.. :)

I made the ground beef version with corn and salsa. I thought there wasn't really enough flavor...If I make it again, I will have to try another version

I liked this dish a lot. It was pretty easy, filling, and had most of the food groups included. And I think it tasted great! 2/3 of my kids didn't really like it much, but didn't hate it (aka they ate it fine) the youngest loved it.
