What You Need

1/2

cup KRAFT Lite Zesty Italian Dressing, divided

boneless beef sirloin steak (1 lb.), well trimmed

1/3

cup BREAKSTONE'S FREE or KNUDSEN Fat Free Sour Cream

4-1/2

tsp. KRAFT Grated Parmesan Cheese

1/4 to 1/2

tsp. black pepper

onion, thinly sliced, separated into rings

Make It

POUR 1/4 cup dressing over steak in shallow dish; turn to evenly coat steak. Refrigerate 30 min. to marinate. Meanwhile, mix sour cream, 2 Tbsp. of the remaining dressing, Parmesan cheese and pepper. Refrigerate until ready to serve.

HEAT remaining 2 Tbsp. dressing in large nonstick skillet on medium heat. Add onions; cook 7 to 8 min. or until golden brown, stirring frequently. Remove onions from skillet; set aside.

REMOVE steak from marinade; discard marinade. Add steak to skillet; cook on medium heat 3 to 4 min. on each side or until medium doneness (160ºF). Remove steak from skillet; cut into thin strips. Serve topped with the sour cream sauce and onions.

I loved this, I did make a few changes; I used London broil instead of sirloin and balsamic vinaigrette. It was delicious.

This recipe was fantastic!! My family all loved it, it's hard to please these picky eaters, lol. We will definitely be making this again. I did have to cut the steak, marinate for a couple of minutes while I got everything else ready and then cooked if for just a couple of minutes, only bc I was running out of time. (it was great this way too!) Next time I will try it marinated whole and then slice it

I've made this with Parmesan cheese. It's good. But I've also substituted the Parm for Blue Cheese and it's even better. I like a lot of black pepper with the blue cheese version. I add shallots to the marinade instead of the onions and then grill the steak - yummy!

We cut the beef into strips and marinated it overnight. We also added the onions to the sour cream mix. It helped soften it and added some extra flavor. It was definitely quick and easy to make. We will be making it again.
